Ignite your impact as an Emergency Medicine Pharmacist in Central Tennessee’s fast-paced Emergency Department pharmacy—where career growth, clinical autonomy, and adrenaline-fueled teamwork take off like a rocket .

The Emergency Medicine Pharmacist will join a mission-driven, patient-first healthcare organization known for clinical excellence, innovation-forward leadership, and high-acuity care that accelerates skill growth; this Emergency Medicine Pharmacist opportunity features advanced clinical decision support, streamlined EHR workflows, shared governance, antimicrobial stewardship strength, strong physician and APP collaboration, evidence-based protocols, quality outcomes with visible dashboards, research and clinical trials participation, tuition assistance and CE support, mentorship and precepting pathways, a Just Culture of safety, robust onboarding, and a reputation that enhances an Emergency Medicine Pharmacist resume in any market.

The Clinical Pharmacist Emergency will thrive within Emergency Room Pharmacy Services closely aligned with the Emergency Department pharmacy, supported by a hospital that is a premier 269-bed regional referral center serving the Upper Cumberland, offering top-tier specialized care—including advanced robotics and orthopedic surgery—without the need for city tax dollars; it provides high-quality, comprehensive healthcare closer to home, often rivaling larger urban institutions, and boasts a 34-bed Emergency Department that sees roughly 55,000 patients annually—an ideal environment for a Clinical Pharmacist Emergency seeking diverse, high-impact cases.

The Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine will typically report to a Director of Pharmacy or ED Pharmacy Manager with matrix support from Emergency Department leadership, and the Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine will be backed by 24/7 pharmacist and technician coverage, robust order sets, rapid consult availability, and real-time analytics to guide practice; daily responsibilities for the Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine include resuscitation/code participation, trauma and stroke alert support, ACLS/ATLS-aligned medication preparation, antimicrobial optimization, toxicology and overdose management, pediatric weight-based dosing, medication reconciliation, ED throughput initiatives, and interdisciplinary rounding with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team across respiratory therapy, radiology, case management, and social work to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care.

The Emergency Medicine Pharmacist will love Central Tennessee for its balance of outdoor adventure and urban access: rolling hills, waterfalls, lakes, and trails across the Cumberland Plateau; convenient drives to major concerts, festivals, and pro sports; four-season weather; vibrant local cuisine and coffee culture; strong school options and nearby higher education; family-friendly neighborhoods with a range of housing—from charming historic districts to new builds—plus a favorable cost of living, low taxes, welcoming community vibe, growing job market, and reliable connectivity for remote work; with safe commutes, expanding parks and greenways, active arts scenes, farmer’s markets, pet-friendly amenities, accessible healthcare, and easy access to major airports, the Emergency Medicine Pharmacist can enjoy an affordable, connected, and adventure-rich lifestyle with room to grow.

The Clinical Pharmacist Emergency can expect competitive compensation with shift differentials, potential sign-on and relocation incentives, comprehensive health coverage, retirement matching, paid time off, paid CE and certification support, and robust wellness resources; to explore how this Pharmacy Specialist Emergency Medicine role can elevate your career, connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter today and spark a confidential conversation ✉️.
