Responsibilities

• Oversee and support all cashier operations, ensuring efficient and friendly customer checkouts
• Lead, train, and assist team members in daily routines and tasks according to established checklists
• Assist management with assigned tasks and special projects as needed
• Handle customer returns and resolve disputes professionally
• Support inventory management and help maintain accurate stock levels
• Encourage ongoing learning and development among team members
• Perform all duties of a Cashier, including operating registers and related equipment
• Uphold company policies and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service and supervisory experience
• Successful completion of on-the-job training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with computers, including MS Word, Google Docs, and workplace software systems
• Excellent customer service and upselling abilities
• Ability to operate cash registers, calculators, and scanners
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and refunds
• Knowledge of company products, services, and customer policies
• Personable, outgoing, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task, stay detail-oriented, and maintain regular attendance
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays

Compensation

$18 - $25 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
