Job Description

Our company is looking for a creative, motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our Brand Creative team. This is a hands-on internship designed for someone who wants real-world experience supporting a fast-paced e-commerce brand in the licensed apparel, retail performance wear, and activewear space. You will assist in creating visual assets for our website, digital campaigns, social media, and email marketing — two emails going out each week means this role is always moving.

This internship is primarily focused on ad creation and digital design deliverables. You'll work alongside our Art Directors and senior designers, learning how a high-volume licensed brand operates across multiple marketing channels.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Ad Creation & Digital Marketing

• Design paid ad assets for digital campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
• Create static and animated graphics for social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
• Design email marketing visuals — 2x per week cadence
• Develop promotional graphics for product launches, sales events, and licensed property drops
• Support retargeting and A/B test creative variations

Website & E-Commerce

• Assist with website banner and homepage visual updates
• Resize and reformat existing assets across multiple digital specs and placements
• Support product page imagery and e-commerce visual needs
• Ensure all digital assets meet platform-specific size and technical requirements
• Support additional campaign components as assigned

Brand Creative Collaboration

• Work alongside Art Directors and senior designers to execute creative briefs
• Attend creative reviews and apply feedback to improve designs
• Follow brand guidelines and visual standards across all deliverables
• Maintain organized file systems and asset libraries

Licensed Property Work

• Assist with design assets that incorporate licensed IP from major entertainment and sports partners
• Ensure all licensed design elements comply with brand partner visual guidelines
• Develop understanding of how licensed properties are applied to apparel and retail campaigns

What We're Looking For

Required

• Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related program
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (required)
• Basic understanding of digital design principles and marketing visuals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Self-starter with a positive, team-first attitude

Preferred

• Familiarity with e-commerce, CPG, or retail apparel brands
• Interest or experience in pop culture, licensed properties, or fandom
• Experience with social media content creation or email design
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics (a plus)
• Exposure to Shopify, Figma, or Canva
• Portfolio that demonstrates digital design work

COMPENSATION & NJ PAY TRANSPARENCY This is a paid internship. The anticipated compensation range for this role is $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, consistent with New Jersey minimum wage requirements and applicable state law (NJ Pay Transparency Act, effective June 1, 2025). Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
