Role Overview Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wall covering, floorcovering and furnishings is seeking a summer intern for the Schumacher Hospitality brand. This New York City-based intern will help with efforts to continue to grow Schumacher’s strong brand position within the growing Hospitality and Contract sectors. The position will engage in responsibilities that fall under sampling efforts, sales and marketing initiatives, and order processing of Schumacher products. Schedule Hours: 30-40 hours per week Job Responsibilities Partner closely with Design Consultant and Project Manager teams to support clients. Process memo orders and project shops for the Hospitality team. Cut and label custom Hospitality fabrics and wallcoverings for designer approval. Collaborate with the Project Management team to execute key initiatives and tasks for the department's growth. Assist with operations and logistical tasks as needed.
