Position Details

• Position: LVN Primary Care Clinic
• Location: Beverly Hills, CA
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts
• Shift Window: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Active California LVN License
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Current BLS Certification
• California IV Certification and Blood Withdrawal Certification
• Epic EMR experience required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake assessments and prepare patients for provider examinations.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies.
• Administer oral, IM, SQ, and IV medications according to physician orders and LVN scope of practice.
• Perform venipuncture, blood draws, specimen collection, and laboratory preparation.
• Start and maintain peripheral IV lines.
• Conduct blood glucose monitoring and patient assessments.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with diagnostic testing.
• Administer vaccines and provide patient education regarding medications and treatments.
• Insert and manage Foley catheters and obtain clean-catch urine specimens.
• Perform simple wound care, dressing changes, and monitor healing progress.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and assist with prescription refill requests.
• Provide telephone triage and follow-up patient communication.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms, procedure rooms, supplies, and equipment.
• Float to other outpatient clinics and urgent care locations as needed.
