Job Description

This role focuses on accurately verifying, preparing, and organizing customer orders before they are sent to shipping. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, using RF scanners, pick links, and computer systems to ensure every order meets strict accuracy and quality standards. The position involves frequent lifting, detailed product verification, and close attention to order documentation throughout the fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

• Review picked orders and carefully check for errors to ensure all items are correct before they are sent to shipping.
• Lift and move products weighing approximately 30–40 lbs throughout the workday.
• Perform quality inspections on products, identifying and correcting any mistakes before orders proceed.
• Assist with order picking as needed to support overall warehouse operations.
• Use RF scanners and pick links to upload and manage accurate order documentation.
• Verify all orders to ensure 100% accuracy in product type, quantity, and documentation.
• Break down bulk orders into smaller, location-specific orders according to work instructions.
• Use work orders to verify the correct products and quantities required for each order.
• Count individual items, such as pairs of socks, to confirm accurate quantities for each order.
• Use computers to enter order data, update inventory information, and print shipping labels.
• Re-verify products multiple times throughout the process to maintain high accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain general warehouse organization and support packing, inventory, and other general labor tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with order picking and packing in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for order processing and product verification.
• Ability to perform accurate product verification and maintain 100% order accuracy.
• Comfort with frequent lifting of 30–40 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift in an open warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and printing shipping labels.
• Strong attention to detail when counting items and verifying quantities.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Reliability and consistency in following work orders and documentation procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse packing, inventory, or general warehouse operations.
• Comfort working with pick links or similar order management tools.
• Ability to support team needs by assisting with different warehouse tasks as required.

Work Environment

You will work in an open warehouse environment that requires standing for the entire shift and regularly lifting items weighing 30–40 lbs. The role involves frequent use of RF scanners, pick links, computers, and other warehouse tools to manage orders, verify products, and print shipping labels. The setting is fast-paced and accuracy-focused, with multiple verification steps built into the workflow. Typical attire includes jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes, providing a comfortable and practical dress code suited to active warehouse work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in North Mankato,MN.
