hed NYC is modern Thai fine dining restaurant, located in West Chelsea. We're looking for a talented, food-passionate content creator to join our team full-time and bring our dining experience to life across Instagram . You'll work on-site, capturing the beauty of our food, space, and people then edit and post content that stops the scroll.
What you'll do
-Shoot professional photo and video content at hed NYC — dishes, ambiance, events, and team moments
-Edit short-form Reels and TikToks optimized for engagement — fast-paced, on-trend, and brand-aligned
-Brainstorm and pitch original content ideas that reflect our brand voice and seasonal menu
-Plan and manage a consistent content calendar across Instagram and TikTok
-Stay on top of social trends and platform updates and bring fresh ideas to every shoot
What we're looking for
-Own a professional camera and have experience shooting in a restaurant or food environment
-Proven ability to shoot and edit short-form video Reels for Instagram — please share your portfolio or account
-Strong editing skills — comfortable with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
-Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok — what performs, what trends, and why
-Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling
-Minimum 1 year of experience in social media content creation; degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field a plus
