Salary: $33 - $40 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, working on the 2nd shift or weekends, offering a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a keen eye for problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
• Inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions, following checklists.
• Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
• Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery found in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair, with the ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, and the use of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
